International Women's Day is a perfect time to celebrate the achievements of women in the digital education industry and promote gender equality worldwide. Within the industry, women are pioneering and innovating. In recent years, there is increased representation of women in leadership roles, with more and more women creating and driving EdTech businesses. At the Digital Education Awards, we are proud that our judging board and our team are made up of at least 50% women. As well as this, digital education is increasing women's access to learning internationally. This year's theme is #ChooseToChallenge, in which we are all asked to choose to speak out and take action against gender bias and inequality.

We have compiled 8 inspiring quotes from women who choose to challenge to motivate women in the digital education industry this International Women's Day.
