RAVI
Chair
The Digital Education Awards are chaired and founded by Ravi Ruparel. Ravi is a school governor responsible for technology, a fellow of the Institute of Charted Accountants and a serial technology and media entrepreneur with international experience working across sector, device and stage of development. Being a non-voting member of the awards, Ravi is able to collaborate with the team and judges to curate the categories, craft fair play rules, motivate entries and care for the communication with judges and applicants.

Sean
Business Developer and Marketing Assistant
Sean is a Business Developer and Marketing Assistant at the Digital Education Awards, bringing a diverse professional background to his role. With a degree in History, Sean combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to drive impactful marketing strategies and business growth.
His previous experience spans charity marketing, where he honed his ability to connect with audiences and build meaningful campaigns, and banking, where he developed a strong foundation in financial operations and customer service
AGNIESZKA
Social Media Assistant
Aga is Social Media Assistant at the Digital Education Awards. She is responsible for our Twitter and Instagram account, creating content that allows us to connect with the edtech community. She also manages our social media strategy, and assists the marketing department where necessary.
PRZEMEK
Lead Developer
Przemek is Lead Developer at the Digital Education Awards. He is integral to the developing and coding of our projects, especially the Certified scheme which his work at the foundation of. He also helps the whole team with web development, allowing us to maintain a technically challenging website with ease.
QINYUE LI
Director/Marketing
Qinyue Li is Marketing Assistant at the Digital Education Awards. She is responsible for the research and marketing work that drives the awards, often leading the marketing team to help attract new customers and clients. Hermione is also a director of the awards.
MIKE
Director
Mike is a director in the Isle of Man office.
He is also principal of MB Executive Limited, a management and technical consultancy in
the international financial services sector. In addition to several senior corporate board
and management roles during his career, Mike has provided consultancy to a wide range of
businesses in Luxembourg, Dublin, the Isle of Man, Malta and the UK. He has also advised
the Isle of Man government on various technical and strategic initiatives.
ALEKS
Operations Assistant
Aleks is Operations Assistant at the Digital Education Awards. She assists members of the content team, and sales and marketing team, with organisational help and advice. She is a key member of our awards and Certified teams.
PIOTR
Lead Video Editor
Piotr is Lead Video Editor at the Digital Education Awards. He edits and manages our video projects, including but not limited to, our annual virtual awards ceremony, our advertising videos, and our highlights reels. He works alongside the content and marketing teams to get the best output possible.
VIKTORIIA
Communications and Business Development Manager
VIktoriia is Communications and Business Development Manager at the Digital Education Awards. She oversees our awards programme, and its marketing, communications, and operations, as well as the overall running of all of our schemes. She is also key to our content strategy with Digital Education Awards Magazine.
DEREK
Director
The Digital Education Awards board also includes a non-executive director, Derek Jackson. Derek is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia New Zealand. He has extensive experience in technology businesses from roles both within the Big 4 and within industry. He has worked with technology start-ups, mid-market and enterprise level firms in the UK and internationally to help achieve their strategic growth plans and appropriate exits. He currently works with a growing international social media firm that provides digital solutions at scale to enterprise clients.
TINA
Awards Assistant
Tina is Finance Assistant at the Digital Education Awards. She oversees our budget and financial accounts, helping the business to flourish and celebrate the digital education industry. She also manages the wider financial wellbeing of the business, looking at its growth and future.
LOUISE
Journalist and Presenter
Louise is a presenter and trained Journalist active in TV, radio and live events. She has presented awards such as the Consumer Choice Awards, World Fashion Awards and the National Film Awards. In the past, you might have heard her morning radio show, seen her 90s music show on Sky or even caught her hosting the Christmas stage at the Ideal Home Show. When she is not in front of the camera Louise is out reporting for national newspapers and online magazines.
She works closely with charities such as Diabetes.co.uk and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and is passionate about environmental issues, and is currently developing an online series focusing on how individuals can help with the ongoing climate crisis.
